GP: *on the comm with Macross* How soon do you think we can have the repairs done?

Macross: I'd estimate two weeks, you guys took an extensive amount of damage.

GP: *shakes her head* I need you to fix her to the point where she can fly and fold again, only critical systems. That should only take a week.

*meanwhile, down on Earth, the Senate has gathered around a podium, with Chaos standing proudly at the microphone. cameras surround the whole ordeal, broadcasting to the whole world. as people gather around whatever screen they can fine to watch, he is properly introduced*

Senator: Ladies and Gentlemen, we open the floor for Admiral Soahc of the "Enigma". As a friend and advisor to the recently assassinated Chancellor, he has some words to say on his behalf. Admiral?

Chaos: *fakes a grim expression and speaks boldly into the microphone* Friends, we are gathered here today to mourn and honor the passing of a truly great man. The Chancellor was a man of vision, passion, and action. He stood firmly by his allies, and his dream was one of a world united. He was not afraid of finding his enemies, and was not afraid of striking them down where they threatened peace. He shall be dearly missed by all who championed his righteousness.
But, the Chancellor would not want us to fall apart in mourning. His life was a just and fulfilling one, and if he had but one regret, it would be trusting those who stabbed him in the back! Those responsible are of a brand unspeakably vile; the curs turned on their own commanding officer when he allied with our righteous Chancellor, and struck him down when he dared uphold the unity of this Earth!
I say to all you gathered to honor the Chancellor, in the memory of both him and his short-lived, but noble, successor, that we will not take this betrayal lying down! I say that it�s judgment time and that I shall bear the proverbial stick of retribution! We shall rise up, united, and bring the wrath that is so deserved and so long overdue! Wave: You sure you're not staying?

Gus: I need to get back before we hit that station. I'm trouble for people like you. Plus, somebody needs to traffic illegally on Earth and not be in Chaos' pocket.

Jen: If Smoke's down there, tell him where we are. I'm really worried for him.

<A transport arrives at macros station and gets permission to dock. There is hardly any people onboard the flight from Mars teraforming colony, Jordan. Mostly workers, a couple militia soldiers and a young marine lieutenant. He has slightly longish black and purple hair. He is carrying his duffel over one arm. Checking his papers, he walks to the nearest computer terminal to check on his connector flight.>
Marine Odd... It's not listed. <Double checks his papers.> Blasted military can't get anything right these days. <he walks over to the flight supervisors desk.> Sargent, I am supposed to be on a flight to earth. But the terminal over there doesn't list it.
Sargent Where have you been. haven't you heard the news? There was a major upheaval on earth. Most of the ships returning from earth are badly damaged. None have docked yet. But I am sure your orders are going to be changed. They are not taking to kindly to off-worlders on earth right now.
Marine Great, I get transfered finally and now I will be stranded.
Sargent Don't worry laddie. I am sure new orders will be arriving shortly. The Shadows are going to need reinforcements and quick.
Marine Thanks for the info. Where do I find the local garrison?
Sargent two decks up. Can't miss it.

GP: *saunters onto the bridge and waves off her XOs attempt at formality* Did the Sabrina dock all right?

RA: *nods* The ship itself made it fine. It's crew suffered a few casualties. Deck crews are reporting that Sabrina is in critical condition and Surf and Kate didn't make it.

GP: *Takes a deep breath and rubs her eyes* Well that's terrific.

RA: Skipper?

GP: *shakes her head* Nothing, Exec, I'm just a little tired of hearing the casualty lists.

GP: *exits the lift to the flight deck and walked over to The Sabrina and the deck techs that are looking over her* Can you fix her?

Tech: I don't know, Captain, since it's not Earth technology it's hard to find compatible components.

Coal: *walks over* In other words, Captain, it'll take a bit of time, I'm going to have to tweak a lot of the scraps and other parts onboard the DF to get her working again.

Flame: *walks over* If anyone can fix her, it's Coal. But that's not important right now.

GP: *looks away* I know...Sick bay informed me about Sabrina.

Flame: Then what the hell are you doing here?!

GP: *starts, not used to be spoken to that way* I'm sorry?

Coal: What Flame is trying to say is why are you concerned over whether or not we can repair The Sabrina when one of your pilots is probably experiencing a case of extreme depression.

GP: That's not my responsibility.

GP: How am I supposed to help him? It's a medical problem not...*gets cut off by Flame slapping her*

Flame: YOU IDIOT!

Coal: Flame! Calm down. *pushes Flame away from GP* Look, Captain, Flame's right. He doesn't need medical help...he needs someone to talk to him. And not as a Captain to a Colonel, but as a friend to a friend.

GP: *touches her stinging cheek* You're right. I'll go talk to him. *turns around and walks back towards the lift as the deck crew quickly try and look busy. She takes the lift up to the deck with the pilot's quarters.*

Iuni: *standing outside Wave's door* Hello, Captain. He's locked us out and won't respond.

GP: Well that's perfect. *bangs her fist against the door* Wave, it's GP, open up!
